1-Mentorship. You need someone who is doing what you want to do in arms reach. The easier way is to choose a mentor. Then complete their trainings Mentors cut your learning curve and save you money by helping you learn from their mistakes. Successful investors model a mentor. A mentor is someone who has been through the same roadblocks you will face. They know how to help you keep going on your journey toward becoming and remaining a top producer.
2-Motivated Sellers. You want to focus on working with motivated sellers. People who have a real estate issue that needs to be solved right away. You want a funnel or process that keeps the leads coming in. The funnel also needs to have follow up system and get them to a closing with you in the middle of the transaction.
Most newbies don’t know how to keep consistency in their process of connecting with motivated sellers. YouTube alone is not going to give you the complete recipe for success, having a mentor and a community will.
3-Motivation. In the business of building your real estate business an investor needs to stay motivated. To stay focused on the finish line. The WHY in why they were attracted to the vehicle called Real Estate Investing. What solution were they looking to solve by becoming a real estate investor. Money is not a motivator. Something you no longer want in your lifestyle is. Something you want in your lifestyle is a motivator. Your WHY is critical to your money at the end of the month changing. It’s critical if you want more zeros in your bank balances.
When closings don’t happen on the scheduled date or the seller says not right now your WHY will be the only thing that will keep you in the game. You won’t give up.
Real Estate Investing is a great lifestyle. But it takes Investing in working more on your own self improvement over anything else. I just invested a lot of money and 3 days with my business coach and it changed my mindset and a few things in my business I found it extremely valuable. I also met a few people I think will be great in building a friendship with or mastermind group with because they had positive energy and have already done some epic stuff in their own businesses.
